1. Overview

Meshii is a next-generation, privacy-first messenger in the Toii ecosystem. It combines on-device AI (Local AI), a DePIN mesh network, and Proof-of-Contribution (PoC) rewards to deliver secure, intelligent communication that works even when the internet doesn’t. Meshii can run as a standalone app or as a GAO MiniApp via the Plugin SDK.

2. Key Features

  • Private Chat (E2E): End-to-end encryption with local storage by default—no cloud dependency.

  • DePIN Mesh Chat: Mesh-to-mesh messaging using ToiiNetwork bandwidth relays (store-and-forward) for low or no connectivity scenarios.

  • Local AI: On-device LLM handles prompts, translate/summarize, and content suggestions without sending data off the device.

  • ToiiID Sync: Unified identity via ToiiID (soul-bound NFT), Web3 wallet, and $SOUL profile from GAO/ToiiPassport.

  • Plugin SDK: Integrates into GAO as a MiniApp or operates independently with the same APIs.

  • PoC Rewards: Offline mesh delivery + local AI inference are metered as contributions → earn $TOII per epoch.

3. Interoperability & Integrations

  • With GAO: Runs as a MiniApp; shares (user-consented) AI Memory, notifications, Wallet, and ToiiPassport.

  • With RUNX: Receives health updates from Smart Ring via chatbot; personalized real-time tips/alerts.

  • With IoT: Optimized for smartphones, wearables (e.g., Smart Ring), and compact edge devices.

4. Protocol & Network Linkages

  • Toii Protocol:

    • Social Protocol: decentralized identity & social graph, role/NFT-based access.

    • AI Protocol: model registry and inference/training APIs with usage receipts.

  • ToiiNetwork:

    • Mesh messages → Bandwidth PoC (bytes served, latency, uptime).

    • Local AI → AI PoC (tokens/sec, FLOPs/sec, QoS).

    • Storage: Media/metadata via IPFS + ToiiStorage (CID-based).

5. Tokens & Rewards

  • $TOII: Unlocks premium AI (faster summarize, advanced translation, longer responses) and pays out PoC for bandwidth & AI compute.

  • $SOUL: Confers identity, reputation, and gated access within mesh communities (room gating, relay priority, admin roles).
